Notice the child's choices, developing independence, and capacity for sustained attention.
A dedicated parent observation lounge is part of our prepared environment—because understanding the child is a meaningful part of the family's Montessori journey.
Observation is central to Montessori practice. Stepping back gives adults the opportunity to notice concentration, repetition, independence, and the quiet decisions children make as they work.
At Nocalli, our separate observation lounge gives parents a designated place to learn from what they see, ask thoughtful questions, and carry a deeper understanding of Montessori into family life.

Build understanding through observation and conversation about Montessori principles.
During scheduled cooperative mornings, parents share rotating support roles while the Guide remains responsible for Montessori lessons.
